A slight taper on one side keeps it from being too symmetrical. The bent plywood has a natural softness to it, in form and to the touch. It's put together in a way that makes it surprisingly rigid and stable, while staying easy to pick up and move around. The contour is clearly related to the Static Plastic and the looped wire objects — the same family, a different function.
